Boutique & Breakfast

The Bradley is a listed town house in the centre of Regency Cheltenham offering seriously classy B&B accommodation! Full of period charm and elegance, it’s perfect for those looking for a luxurious and stylish city bolt hole.

Its central location puts it within easy reach of the city’s many attractions, including the fashionable Montpellier area, with its distinctive architecture and stylish bars, restaurants and cafés. Visitors to The Bradley are also within easy reach of Cheltenham Racecourse, which hosts a series of major festivals throughout the year, the most famous of which is the Cheltenham Gold Cup. It’s also a great base for those attending regional events, such as the Three Counties Show at Malvern, which is only half an hour away, and Tewkesbury Medieval Fair, which is held just ten miles away.

Your hosts, Chris and Sue Light, are sticklers for good old fashioned customer service and this is evident in every aspect of the way that they run The Bradley. They’re always happy to provide guests with tips on where to eat and how to make the most out of their stay in Cheltenham.

This beautiful house has been in their family for 100 years, and has a fascinating and rich history. It has grand proportions and boasts a fine collection of antique furniture assembled by the family over three generations, as well as lots of striking objet d’art. Chris and Sue have sensitively refurbished the house, taking care to ensure that it’s well equipped with all the ‘mod cons’ that guests would expect from luxury boutique-style accommodation. The Bradley is a non-smoking B&B.

From Regency splendour to contemporary comfort, The Bradley has a choice of fabulous bedrooms available to guests, each decorated in its own unique and individual style. All of the rooms are furnished and equipped to a high specification, with luxurious bedding, plump pillows and quality mattresses. They each have a flat-screen television; free wireless internet access; an iPod docking station and alarm clock; fluffy bathrobes; a desk; a selection of reading materials; complimentary bottled water; a generously-stocked refreshment tray and a host of other well thought out finishing touches. The sleek and stylish modern bathrooms are also of a high standard, and stocked with the finest toiletries from Penhaligon’s.

The five double rooms are available for between £85 and £150 per night. The five single rooms are available for £75 to £130.

Breakfast is served in the fabulous dining room, which has retained its exquisite Regency style. Dishes on the menu are made using ingredients sourced from the local farmers’ market, and local butchers and bakers. Buffet options include fruit juices; cereals; yoghurt; muesli; toast and croissants. This is followed by the cooked breakfast of your choice, which could be anything from a Bradley-style full English to smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. There’s even a ‘breakfast in a bag’ service for those in a rush.
