The Earsdon Annexe in the village of Worstead is a beautifully converted outhouse that is now a stylish and low-key bed and breakfast. With exclusive use of the annexe property, you can unwind as you take in the views over the local countryside, with a herd of Highland cattle in the next-door field. They’re a fabulous feature in the village that local children and visitors to the area love to look out for.
While the property has been tastefully decorated, it has also been carefully thought through, by owners Shaun and Kelly, with guests’ comfort at the heart of every decision that they have made. While the Annexe gives a nod to the Scottish neighbours, the décor is as subtle as the welcome is warm. Guests will savour the opportunity to get to know the immediate area on foot, giving you the chance to walk off the Earsdon cookies that are baked freshly every day.
North Norfolk is a where ancient land meets the waterways and coasts that are so important for our island. Traditionally used for transport and industry, now you’re as likely to see a kite surfer as you are a fishing trawler bobbing up and down on the North Sea. A region that’s as rich in heritage and history as it is in sweeping landscapes and quaint villages, North Norfolk has something to offer everyone and The Earsdon Annexe in the village of Worstead is the perfect place to base yourselves.
Shaun and Kelly Wright, and their young son Harry, are delighted to welcome you to the Earsdon Annexe, which offers you the perfect bolthole from which to explore the North Norfolk coast and nearby Norfolk Broads. With tasteful décor, the Earsdon Annexe is a converted outbuilding that sits in its own area of the family garden. As well as the miles of surrounding countryside to discover, guests can get to grips right away with farming life with views out over the neighbouring field that is home to Highland Cattle – all of the enjoyment of these beautiful gentle creatures with none of the work!
The care and attention to detail in the Earsdon Annexe is clear to see with a luxurious double bed and spacious en-suite bathroom. With exclusive use of the Annexe, you’ll be able to truly relax and make yourself at home. Central heating and a fan mean that you can make your room the temperature that suits you best, which is so often what stops us from enjoying an overnight stay. The care and attention extend to the bathroom and facilities with a 43” television, including Freeview, a double shower with rainwater shower head, and tea and coffee making facilities with freshly baked cookies daily. It’s often the smallest touches that make you feel so welcomed.
Breakfast is served on a tray and – in the warmer months – guests are encouraged to breakfast on the small patio area in front of the annexe and watch the countryside come to life around them.
The Earsdon Annexe is unlicensed, however the hosts, Shaun and Kelly, are happy to provide you with glasses and an ice bucket if you wish to mark the end of a relaxing day exploring or have something to celebrate. If you would like to explore the village of Worstead, the White Lady pub is located nearby.

From the comfort of your double bed, you can catch up on the day’s events on the 43” flat screen television. The bed itself is the epitome of decadence with high-end hotel quality 400 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, duck feather pillows and duvet that will whisk you away to the land of Nod in the most sublime way.
The bathroom has been decorated with the comfort and enjoyment of guests front and centre.
