Westbrook Court is a charming 17th century farmhouse set in five acres of private land. It offers luxurious and tranquil guest accommodation and is located in the stunning Wye Valley in Herefordshire.
Owners, Kari and Chris Morgan, have paid great attention to detail when designing the luxury boutique accommodation, which is situated in the sleek, black timber-clad guest annexe built on the site of the old stables. Kari, who runs her own interior design business www.westbrook-interiors.co.uk has used her experienced skills to create a unique, contemporary look that cleverly juxtaposes old and new. Her signature finishing touches include bespoke statement lights and lamps, supersized canvas art of the grounds at Westbrook Court, and cosy Melin Tregwynt welsh throws and cushions on the sofas and beds. The overall effect is upcycled contemporary with a boutique twist. For guests who like what they see, Kari offers a remote design makeover by email and telephone.
The annexe contains five guest suites, each with their own private entrances and lounges, all which open out onto a beautifully landscaped courtyard, overlooking wonderful views of the stunning Herefordshire countryside and the famous Wye Valley. During the week, guests enjoy a fully loaded breakfast hamper which is delivered directly to the suites, whilst at weekends a locally sourced cooked breakfast is served in the communal dining room in the farmhouse.
Westbrook Court offers a full concierge service to guests needing tips and hints on how best to explore the local area. In room spa treatments and pampering sessions as well as boutique extras such as bubbles or a local cheeseboard, are all part of the service. Kari and Chris have really enjoyed exploring the best their area can offer and have established relationships with lots of other local businesses – so guests can benefit from the hosts arranging art classes, cider tasting, guided mountain walks, cycle or kayak hire, gliding, horseriding, glass blowing, hedgerow foraging, artisan bread making or any number of other tailored fun things to do! For returning guests Westbrook Court also run their own loyalty card scheme, with lots of rewards to be enjoyed by their valued guests.
