Tim and Fiona Gardham, owners at Eighteen97 B&B in the beautiful moorland village of Goathland, are extremely proud to be recipients of the Visit England Rose Award 2016. The accolade is given to just 100 accommodation providers across the country in Recognition of Service Excellence. Eighteen97 is the only B&B to achieve the award in the North Yorkshire Moors area and one of only three in the whole of Yorkshire.

With a 5 star rating as well as Gold and Breakfast Awards, achieved through a yearly quality inspection visit, expectations are always high at Eighteen97. It is the observations by the Visit England quality assessor, that triggers the award nomination.

Consideration is also given to online customer reviews. 178 5 star, excellent, reviews affirm Eighteen97 as a rather special place to stay, ‘Tim and Fiona are such kind and thoughtful hosts’… ‘Superb, every little detail is taken care of’… ‘we found Eighteen97 through the internet and marveled that 100% of the reviews gave 5 stars! We can very easily see why! ‘

The final judging panel also looks for innovation that sets the business apart. This includes facilities or services offered to make the customer’s stay really special.
